Websites for consulting foresters, built and maintained.
A forestry website is found by a landowner who has just inherited a tract and is about to trust a stranger with a timber sale. We design, build, host and maintain it for $79 a month, and keep your services and registrations current without you logging in to anything.
What a forestry website needs.
Nearly every consulting forester site we have looked at is five pages, no blog, and a site-visit request form. Nothing changes but the occasional new forester or service.
Timber sales and marketing, sealed-bid sales, timber appraisals, management plans, boundary lines, prescribed burning, reforestation, estate and inheritance help. Named the way a landowner would look for them.
The landowner questions: I inherited a tract, now what. What is stumpage. How does a sealed bid work. Do I need a management plan. Answered plainly, once.
Registered forester, association membership, years in the woods, the kinds of tracts each person knows. The page that decides whether a landowner in another state trusts you.
The counties or region you cover, as a page or a line. Enough for a landowner to know you will drive out.
One form to request a site visit, a phone number and an email address. Nothing else between a landowner and a cruise.
That is the Care plan. Five pages and a site-visit form covers nearly every forestry consulting firm we have looked at, and a new forester or a new service is an ordinary edit, included. $79 a month with a one-time $200 setup, and every edit after launch is included.
A site a landowner can trust with a six-figure sale.
Built for the heir, not the mill
Plain answers to the questions a new landowner has, so the first call starts with a site visit instead of a definition of stumpage.
Nothing to log in to
A new forester, a new service, an updated registration. Email it over and it is live, usually the same day.
Not a free builder from years ago
Custom design and real typography, hosted and secured by us, so the site reads like the firm handling the sale.
This is not the plan for a firm with a land-realty arm that lists tracts for sale or hunting leases. That needs a listings feed, and we will say so on the first call.
Two plans. Everything included.
Design, hosting, security, backups and edits under one monthly plan. Most consulting foresters are on Care.
A fully custom-coded site, hosted, secured and edited for you. Everything most businesses need, and nothing to manage.
- Custom design, up to 5 pages, contact form
- Hosting, SSL, security, backups
- Unlimited content edits
- SEO built in
- Linked to your Google listing, if you have one
Everything in Care, plus more pages, email on your own domain and the forms that bring in work.
- Everything in Care
- More than five pages
- Email on your own domain, set up for you
- Booking, quote and intake forms
The longer you commit, the less you pay.
Every plan starts with a 12-month commitment and the setup paid today. Commit for 18 months or more and the setup is folded into the monthly instead, with nothing due today, and discounted up to 15% at 36 months. After the term, the price returns to the plan.
12-month commitment, then month to month.
Hosting, security, backups and content edits are part of the monthly plan. Anything outside it is quoted before it costs you anything.
Above ten pages, or where the site needs more extensive work, the one-time setup goes up. It is quoted before anything starts. Never a higher monthly.
The site is plain, durable code. If you ever leave, it goes with you.
What consulting foresters usually ask.
Our site never changes. Why pay every month?
Because a landowner who inherited a tract will find it on their own schedule, and it needs to be there, working, when they do. The monthly covers hosting, security, backups and the site-visit form. When a forester joins or a service is added, you email it and it is done.
Can we answer landowner questions without writing a blog?
Yes. The Where to Begin page holds the questions you answer on every first call, written once and kept current. It is not a feed and we never add one you did not ask for. If you want to add a question later, that is an ordinary edit.
What does it cost?
Care is $79 a month with a one-time $200 setup and covers up to five pages, which is nearly every consulting firm. If you want more pages, email on your own domain set up for you, or an intake form, Grow is $149 a month with a $500 setup. Every content edit is included on both.
We have an old site and a listing in the association directory. Can you take it over?
Usually. We rebuild the site as plain, durable code on your existing domain, keep what works, and retire the old builder. Your ACF directory listing stays where it is and the site links to it. If your site depends on something we do not do, such as tract listings, we will tell you before anything starts.
Ready before the next tract changes hands.
